Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and motivated Research Associate to support clinical research activity and the coordination of our medical residency programme.
The successful candidate will work with clinicians, researchers, residents, and administrative teams to help deliver high-quality research and an excellent training

Key Responsibilities
- Support the coordination of clinical research studies, including maintaining study records, preparing documentation, tracking timelines, and assisting with ethics and governance submissions.
- Coordinate research meetings, journal clubs, educational events, workshops, and resident activities.
- Assist with grant applications, publications, audit projects, and dissemination of research findings where appropriate.
- Identify opportunities to improve research processes and the resident learning experience.
- Help collect, organise, and manage research data in line with hospital policies, ethics requirements, and data-protection standards.
- Conduct literature reviews and prepare clear research summaries, reports, presentations, and briefing materials.
- Act as a point of contact for residents, supervising consultants, research teams, and external partners.
- Support resident onboarding, rotation schedules, teaching sessions, assessments, and programme communications.
- Maintain accurate records relating to resident attendance, training requirements, research participation, and programme outcomes.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's Degree in Health Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or a related field with 3-5 years' experience.
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence working with multidisciplinary clinical teams.
- Strong research, writing, organisational, and administrative skills.
