Job Summary
The Retail Sales Associate is responsible for assisting customers in locating products, making sales, processing transactions, and maintaining a well-organized and welcoming retail store environment.
Key Accountabilities
- Process sales transactions, maintain customer and sales records, reconcile sales with Finance/Inventory teams, and monitor stock levels.
- Maintain attractive store presentation, accurate product merchandising, cleanliness, and proper opening/closing procedures.
- Welcome customers, understand their needs, provide excellent service, and build lasting customer relationships.
- Drive sales by following up on leads, closing sales, and upselling/cross-selling products based on customer needs.
Requirements
Strong commercial awareness with the ability to understand customer buying behaviour, market trends, product positioning, and sales opportunities.
3–5 years of proven experience in premium retail, fashion, luxury, or customer-facing sales roles.
Strong knowledge of customer relationship management, retail sales operations, merchandising, inventory management, and point-of-sale systems.
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, with strong experience in lead conversion, upselling, cross-selling, and driving repeat customer purchases.
BSc/HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
Salary: N500,000 - N600,000 Net Monthly.
