Summary
The successful candidate will supervise the rooftop team, coordinate food and beverage operations, monitor inventory and service standards, and ensure that the facility remains clean, safe and well organised.
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Rooftop Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of the rooftop facility and ensure excellent service delivery and guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the rooftop remains safe, organised, presentable and ready for guests at all times.
- Ensure tables, seating areas, bar areas and other guest spaces are clean, organised and properly arranged.
- Ensure guests receive prompt, professional and courteous service.
- Identify opportunities to improve service delivery, guest satisfaction and revenue generation.
- Monitor lighting, seating arrangements, music and other elements that contribute to the guest experience.
- Ensure proper opening and closing procedures are followed during each shift.
- Handle guest complaints and service-related issues professionally and escalate complex matters to management.
- Monitor cash-handling and payment procedures in accordance with established company policies, where applicable.
- Coordinate table reservations, bookings, private functions and special events hosted on the rooftop.
- Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, grooming, conduct and performance.
- Assign duties and coordinate staff activities during shifts to ensure efficient operations.
- Prepare shift reports and communicate relevant operational issues to management.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, health, safety and operational standards.
- Oversee the daily operations of the rooftop lounge, bar or restaurant and ensure smooth service delivery.
- Respond appropriately to operational incidents and emergencies and escalate serious issues to management.
- Monitor food and beverage service to ensure orders are accurately processed and served promptly.
- Train and guide team members on customer service, operational procedures and service standards.
- Conduct regular checks to ensure the rooftop's cleanliness, appearance, ambience and general readiness for service.
- Welcome guests and ensure their needs and concerns are attended to throughout their visit.
- Report maintenance, electrical, plumbing, structural or other facility-related issues promptly.
- Coordinate with kitchen, bar, housekeeping, security and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Supervise waiters, bartenders, hosts, servers and other rooftop staff.
- Report stock shortages, damages, wastage or discrepancies to the appropriate manager.
- Monitor the availability and usage of food, beverages, service items and other rooftop supplies.

Experience
Excellent communication and team-management abilities.
Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
Knowledge of health, safety and hygiene standards within a hospitality environment.
High level of professionalism, responsibility and attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and maintain service standards during busy periods.
Good understanding of inventory and basic cost-control procedures.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
Strong customer-service and interpersonal skills.
Previous supervisory
is required.
2–3 years of relevant
in hospitality, restaurants, lounges, bars, hotels or a similar customer-facing environment.
Ability to handle guest complaints and resolve service issues professionally.
Good understanding of food and beverage service operations.
OND / HND / Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration, Food & Beverage Management or a related field is an advantage.
