Job Title: Sales & Business Development Representative

Location: Lagos, Nigeria

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Summary

This role is ideal for someone who is confident in sales, enjoys building relationships, generating new business, and converting opportunities into revenue.

The Iroko Group, in collaboration with Melanin Creatives, is looking for a driven and results-oriented Sales & Business Development Representative to join our team in Lagos, Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build strong client relationships and identify opportunities for repeat business and referrals.
  • Identify opportunities for corporate training and institutional partnerships.
  • Generate leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, social media, email, WhatsApp and other channels.
  • Follow up consistently with prospects and existing leads.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Schedule client meetings, consultations and presentations.
  • The role may also involve attending client meetings, networking events, exhibitions, presentations and business development activities.
  • Maintain accurate CRM and sales records and provide regular sales reports.
  • Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Convert qualified leads into paying clients.
  • Promote Melanin Creatives’ courses, training programmes, workshops, masterclasses and mentorship programmes.
  • Research prospects and understand their business needs.
  • Prepare and assist with proposals and quotations.
  • Present The Iroko Group’s services professionally.
  • Develop relationships with architecture, interior design and creative communities.
