About the Job

The role combines direct sales and e-commerce activities with marketing initiatives to generate leads, expand market share, strengthen customer relationships, and increase online and offline sales.

They are seeking a Sales / E-Commerce Officer responsible for driving revenue growth and increasing brand visibility by promoting solar energy solutions to residential, commercial, and industrial clients.

Key Accountabilities

  • Collaboration: Work closely with technical teams to align customer requirements with installation capabilities.
  • Reporting & KPI Tracking: Monitor revenue, conversion rates, and pipeline progress.
  • Proposal Development: Create tailored quotations and ROI-focused presentations.
  • Market research: Analyse industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform strategy.
  • Collaboration with Technical Teams: Work closely with technical teams to align customer requirements with installation capabilities.
  • Social Media Engagement: Build community trust and brand loyalty through interactive posts.
  • Digital Campaigns: Run targeted ads (Google Ads, Facebook, LinkedIn) to boost visibility.
  • Negotiation & Closing: Secure contracts with clear terms and financing options.

Qualifications

  • Have 2–3 years of proven sales experience in a B2B or B2C environment, with a track record of consistently meeting or exceeding targets. Experience in solar, power, FMCG, financial services or any field-sales-heavy industry is a strong plus.
  • Have built and managed a sales team or agent network before — or can clearly demonstrate the recruiting, coaching and people-management instincts required to build one quickly.
  • Are self-motivated, target-driven and resilient. You handle rejection without losing momentum and find energy in hitting and exceeding quotas.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
  • Communicate exceptionally well, both verbally and in writing. You listen actively, present confidently, and adjust your style to suit a homeowner, an SME owner or a corporate procurement manager.
  • Have strong CRM hygiene and a respect for data — you'd rather log a call now than forget the details later.
  • Are comfortable with field work in Lagos, including site visits, customer meetings and managing agents on the ground.
