Summary
The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving corporate sales growth, achieving revenue and sales targets, and expanding the customer base across key market verticals.
The role will focus on customer acquisition, business development, relationship management, opportunity conversion, and leading sales initiatives across target sectors including Healthcare, Hospitality, Agriculture, SMEs, Education, and Financial Institutions.
The ideal candidate should have strong corporate sales experience, a good understanding of the renewable energy/utility market, and a proven ability to lead sales teams and consistently deliver against targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Business Development:
- Identify new markets, customer segments, and business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
- Participate in sales calls, client meetings, site inspections, presentations, and negotiations to drive business closure.
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline and consistently convert opportunities into closed business.
- Represent the organization at relevant industry events, exhibitions, and business networking opportunities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, industry executives, and strategic customers.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve corporate sales and revenue targets.
- Identify, prospect, and acquire new customers across assigned market verticals.
- Develop new business accounts and prepare compelling sales proposals for prospective clients.
- Implement sales initiatives and action plans aligned with the overall marketing and business strategy.
- Customer & Stakeholder Management:
- Manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to facilitate business growth and successful customer delivery.
- Provide timely responses and high-quality service throughout the customer journey.
- Build and maintain professional, long-term relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
- Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate energy solutions based on their requirements.
- Participate in opportunity development and deal closure alongside other members of the sales team.
- Sales Performance & Reporting:
- Monitor sales pipeline, product bookings, earned revenue, and other relevant KPIs.
- Set clear sales objectives and ensure achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
- Prepare and submit accurate daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Track and analyse sales performance and identify areas requiring improvement.
- Use sales data and market intelligence to improve performance and identify growth opportunities.
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Monitor individual and team performance against sales targets and KPIs.
- Support team members in prospecting, customer engagement, negotiations, and closing opportunities.
- Lead, motivate, and support the sales team to achieve agreed business objectives.
- Foster a high-performance, target-driven sales culture.
- Conduct or facilitate sales training, presentations, and direct marketing sessions.
Requirements
- & Qualifications
- A Master's degree is an advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years'
Experience
in sales and marketing, within the Solar Industry with proven
in a sales management or similar role.
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Strong understanding of the utility and renewable energy sectors, including market dynamics and relevant regulatory considerations.

Proven track record of achieving sales targets, preferably within a corporate/B2B sales environment.
