The Secretary to the CEO will provide secretarial and administrative support to the CEO’s office, ensuring proper documentation, correspondence, record keeping and coordination of routine office activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, type, format and proofread letters, memos, reports and other correspondence.
  • Maintain an organized filing and document-management system.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence.
  • Schedule appointments and maintain the CEO’s official diary as assigned.
  • Receive visitors and direct enquiries appropriately.
  • Take accurate minutes during meetings and circulate approved minutes.
  • Maintain records of meetings, correspondence and official documentation.
  • Handle telephone calls and messages professionally.
  • Assist with preparation of reports, presentations and meeting documents.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all information handled within the CEO’s office.
  • Provide general administrative support as required.

Requirements

  • OND/HND/Bachelor’s degree in Secretarial Administration, Business Administration, Office Management or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years’

Experience

in a secretarial or administrative role.

Excellent typing, document formatting and proofreading skills.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and email applications.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong filing and record-management skills.

Professional appearance and interpersonal skills.
