We are seeking a responsible, vigilant, and disciplined Security Guard to support the protection of the company’s personnel, facilities, assets, and overall operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment, monitoring access to the premises, preventing unauthorised activities, and promptly reporting security concerns to the appropriate authority.
Key Responsibilities
- Prevent unauthorised access, theft, vandalism, and other security breaches.
- Ensure that established security procedures are followed.
- Perform other duties that may be assigned by Management.
- Record and report security incidents, visitors, and unusual occurrences.
- Maintain proper handover and communication with other security personnel.
- Maintain vigilance and identify suspicious activities or security risks.
- Conduct regular patrols around assigned areas.
- Monitor and control access to the company’s premises.
- Guard and protect company premises, personnel, equipment, and other assets.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and promptly escalate incidents.
Requirements
- Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
- Minimum of SSCE/WAEC/NECO.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be physically fit and medically capable of performing security duties.
- Must be vigilant, disciplined, trustworthy, and responsible.
- Previous
Experience
as a Security Guard or in a similar role is an added advantage.
Ability to remain alert and work effectively with minimal supervision.
