The Senior Construction Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations across construction projects, ensuring that work is executed according to approved drawings and specifications, delivered within agreed timelines, and meets required quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities on site in line with approved drawings, specifications, and project programmes.
- Manage and coordinate site personnel, subcontractors, and artisans, ensuring effective allocation of labour to meet project milestones.
- Monitor construction materials, inventory, and procurement follow-ups to minimize wastage and prevent project delays.
- Enforce health, safety, and environmental standards across all site activities.
- Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports for the Project Manager and management.
- Liaise with architects, consultants, quantity surveyors, and other project stakeholders to resolve technical and site-related issues.
- Conduct quality inspections and ensure identified defects or remedial works are addressed promptly.
- Ensure construction activities remain aligned with project specifications, timelines, and quality requirements.
Requirements
- HND or Bachelor's degree in Building Technology, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
