Responsibilities
- Install and configure enterprise firewalls, core
- and access switches, routing and wireless infrastructure.
- Implement network segmentation, access controls
- and secure administration in line with approved designs.
- Configure SD-WAN, secure VPN connectivity and
- resilient connectivity across service providers.
- Apply network access protection, QoS and
- multicast controls, including 802.1X, DHCP snooping, dynamic ARP inspection and
- IGMP where required.
- Integrate network and security telemetry with
- monitoring systems; investigate faults and security events.
- Test failover, throughput and security controls;
- maintain firmware, configuration backups, diagrams and change records.
