Established in 2016, Heritage Energy Operational Services Limited (Heritage Energy) is an affiliate of Heritage Oil Limited (HOIL) a Jersey-headquartered international Oil and Gas company. Heritage Energy is also the Operator of the flagship Asset, OML 30 in the Niger Delta, which is a Joint Venture Partnership between NNPC Exploration and Production Limited (NEPL) and Shoreline Natural Resources Limited (SNRL).

We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Reports to: Engineering Manager
Responsibilities
- Ability to prepare Project Scope of work and also extract project Scope of Work from contract scope.
- Ensure appropriate checking/review of primarily all Pipeline and other related discipline documents/drawings at all revision status.
- Assist Lead in work, Cost estimation, planning, progress monitoring and adherence to scheduled completion of engineering documents.
- Supervise contractors during installation and commissioning.
- Conduct feasibility studies, route selection, and risk assessments.
- Ensure preparation of design deliverables with due consideration of applicable codes and standards.
- Ensure compliance with API, ASME, ISO, and local regulatory standards.
- Participate in design reviews, HAZID, HAZOP exercises.
- Obtain/assimilate relevant design input from Lead Engineer and other Engineering disciplines and incorporate in pipeline deliverables.
- Embark on Site visits and verification exercise as required.
- Vendor/OEM/Contractor interactions.
- Interpretation of P&IDs, related Piping deliverables on projects.
- Ensure prompt coordination with other engineering disciplines.
- Implement corrosion control, pigging operations, and leak detection systems.
- Prepare Pipeline Deliverables for the various engineering phases: Conceptual, Front End Engineering Design (FEED), Detailed engineering Design (DED) and Construction/Installation and Commissioning activities.

Requirements
- Professional Qualifications: NSE, COREN (mandatory). Others: API, NACE
- Strong knowledge of pipeline hydraulics, stress analysis, and materials engineering
- Familiarity with industry standards, notably: ASME B31.4, ASME B31.8, ASME B31.3, ASME Section VIII, API 1111, etc.
- 8 - 10 years experience.
- Core Educational Qualifications: B.Sc Degree in Mechanical / Marine / Civil /Petroleum / Chemical Engineering. (Optional: MSc. Degree in Pipeline, Oil & Gas Engineering).
- Basic understanding of Pipeline engineering principles.
- Familiarity with recommended practices and carrying out design/engineering of onshore and offshore pipelines as per above codes.
- Interpretation of Equipment drawings for both Mechanical and Pipeline disciplines.
- Specifying and Procurement of Pipeline and Associated Facilities materials in conformity of Materials codes and standards, such as ANSI, ASTM, ISO, DIN, BS codes, etc.
- Preparation of Alignment sheets, Crossing Drawings, Route Maps, Pipeline Approach Drawings, Pig trap layouts, PLEM layouts, Riser drawings, etc.
- Capability to draft Pipeline Design Basis, and Pipeline Deliverables Specifications, etc.
- Software Competency:
- MathCAD, autoCAD and Microsoft office suite
- Proficiency in using CAESAR II, AVEVA E3D, ANSYS, OFFPIPE, PIPESIM
