Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager
Location: Marina, Lagos

Job Summary
The role is ideal for a commercially a stute Quantity Surveyor who is ready to take strong ownership of cost control, procurement, contract administration, and commercial management across residential development projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs) and project cost reports.
- Support project budgets, cash flow forecasts and profit margin management.
- Manage subcontractor final accounts and contractual obligations.
- Contribute to volume procurement and supply chain strategies.
- Conduct site valuations and assess subcontractor payment applications and variations.
- Prepare accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost plans and detailed take-offs.
- Lead tendering, procurement and negotiation of trade packages.
- Track project costs and identify opportunities to improve margins.
- Mentor junior Quantity Surveyors and progressively take on broader commercial responsibilities.
- Work closely with Land, Design, Construction and Sales teams.
- Support contract administration, risk management and claims.
- What We Are Looking For
- Strong commercial, analytical and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in quantity surveying/estimation software and familiarity with construction ERP systems.
- Professional accreditation is an advantage.
- Strong expertise in BOQ preparation, measurement, cost planning and cost control.
- Practical knowledge of building contracts and contract administration.
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Commercial Management or a related field.
- Strong interest in progressing into broader Commercial Management.
- 5+ years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably within residential property development.
