We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Locations:
Lagos, Ago-iwoye -Ogun and Ondo
Employment Type: Contract
Responsibilities
- Site Layout & Setting Out: Perform precise land surveying, leveling, and setting out of road alignments, drainage systems, culverts, and kerbs.
- Safety & Compliance (HSE): Enforce site safety standards, traffic management plans, and environmental regulations to minimize site hazards and road user disruption.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed site logs, record variations, track work progress against project timelines, and prepare daily/weekly reports for the Project Manager.
- Resource Management: Monitor daily equipment usage, material consumption, and labor allocation to ensure optimal site efficiency.
- Site Supervision & Quality Control: Oversee daily operations, ensure work aligns with civil engineering drawings, and enforce strict quality control for earthworks, sub-base, base course, and asphalt laying.
- Materials & Testing: Manage material sampling (aggregate tests, soil compaction/CBR tests, concrete slump tests, asphalt density) and coordinate with geotechnical lab technicians.
- Contractor & Subcontractor Management: Direct site foremen, equipment operators, and subcontractors to maintain productivity and prevent project delays.

Education
Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc / B.Eng) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Civil Engineering or Building Technology.
Soft Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, team management, and clear communication abilities.
Experience
3–5+ years of practical site engineering experience, specifically on major road construction, highway, or pavement projects.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, land surveying equipment (Total Station, Optical Level, GPS/GNSS), and knowledge of road design specifications.
Salary: N400,000 - N500,000 monthly.
