We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Senior Well Engineer / Drilling Superintendent
Locations:
Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Cross River, Delta, Ebonyi and Rivers
Basic Requirements
Proven experience supervising drilling activities and managing drilling contractors, service companies, and rig operations.
Minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience in well engineering, drilling operations, or well delivery.
Strong understanding of HSE requirements, well control standards, and regulatory compliance.
Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Experience working with drilling programmes, cost estimates, operational procedures, and performance monitoring.
Must be able to work effectively under pressure and coordinate multiple drilling activities.
Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Drilling Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
Relevant Well Control certification (IWCF/IADC) is required.
Good knowledge of well design, casing and cementing, directional drilling, well control, drilling fluids, and completion operations.
Strong experience in drilling engineering, well planning, execution, and well operations.
Experience in offshore and/or onshore drilling operations is an advantage.
