Avocado Virtual Solutions is recruiting on behalf of our client for a Social Media & Content Creator to manage and grow the Founder’s personal brand across social media.
The successful candidate will own the content workflow—from ideation and planning to editing, publishing, community management and performance tracking.
Key Responsibilities
- Design carousels, graphics and other visual assets.
- Develop and maintain the Founder’s content strategy, calendars and production schedules.
- Create and edit high-quality Reels and short-form videos.
- Create authentic content that reflects the Founder’s personality and business journey.
- Repurpose footage and ideas into multiple engaging pieces without repetition.
- Adapt content appropriately for each platform.
- Schedule and publish content accurately and on time.
- Support campaigns, announcements, events and other important moments.
- Turn raw footage, ideas and briefs into engaging social media content.
- Write strong hooks, scripts, captions and storytelling content.
- Create content ideas based on the brand’s key pillars.
- Research trends, audience conversations and content opportunities.
- Maintain an organised content library, production tracker and archive.
- Content Expectations:
- Instagram: 4 posts/week – Reels, carousels, photos and written/graphic content.
- LinkedIn: 1 thoughtful founder-led post/week.
- Content volume may increase during campaigns, launches, events and other key periods.
- Stories: As required.
- TikTok: At least 1 post/day based on agreed content pillars.
- Community Management & Reporting:
- Respond according to the approved brand voice and customer-service guidelines.
- Monitor reach, views, audience growth, watch time, retention, engagement, saves, shares, profile visits and link clicks.
- Maintain confidentiality around personal footage, business plans, campaigns and unreleased products.
- Prepare a concise monthly report highlighting performance, learnings and recommended improvements.
- Monitor comments, mentions and DMs during agreed working hours.
- Escalate sensitive, legal, reputational or customer-service matters to the Founder.

- Proficiency in CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent tools.
- Ability to communicate a personal brand authentically and consistently.
- Portfolio demonstrating video editing, graphic design and creative writing.
- Reliable internet and suitable equipment for remote work.
Experience
with Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and LinkedIn.
Strong organisation, reliability, attention to detail and deadline management.
Proven
creating and managing social media content.
Strong short-form video editing skills beyond basic templates
