Requirements
- 2+ years managing social media for a brand, business or organisation, with results you can point to
- A live portfolio or account links. Tell us what the numbers were when you arrived and what they were when you left
- Strong graphic design skills in Photoshop or CorelDRAW (Illustrator, Figma or Canva also welcome). You should be able to produce a clean, on-brand post without waiting for a designer
- Fluent, confident written and spoken English. You'll be writing for an audience across 54 countries, so your copy needs to travel beyond one local reference pool
- Genuinely comfortable on camera — presenting, explaining, interviewing
- Working knowledge of platform analytics and Google Analytics 4, and the ability to say what a number means rather than just report it
- You use AI tools daily to work faster — drafting, ideation, summarising, repurposing — and you review everything before it goes out. We want the speed, not the sameness
- Organised and self-starting. You'll be trusted with the calendar and expected to keep it full
- A plus:
- Video editing in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or CapCut
Responsibilities
- Content production (the bulk of the job):
- Plan, produce and publish three text-and-image posts per day across Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn and WhatsApp
- Produce two video posts per week for TikTok and Reels — shot and edited by you
- Design on-brand graphics in Photoshop, CorelDRAW, Illustrator or Canva, working from our brand kit
- Turn one source into many: a single blog post, advisor interview or student success story should become a Reel, a carousel, an X thread and a LinkedIn post
- Build and maintain a content calendar keyed to real application deadlines — admissions cycles, loan application windows, UCAS and Common App dates, and scholarship deadlines all move on fixed dates, and our content should be early, not late
- Appear on camera yourself for explainers, deadline round-ups, Q&As, Lives and behind-the-scenes content
- Film and edit short interviews with students we've placed abroad and with our advisors
- Community and engagement:
- Reply to comments and DMs across every platform, quickly and in our voice
- Seed and moderate discussion in our on-site community forum — surface the good questions from social into the forum and make sure they get answered
- Route genuine enquiries to the right advisor instead of letting them go cold
- Spot and lift member wins: acceptances, scholarships, visa approvals
- Growth and reporting:
- Optimise captions, titles and on-screen text for how people actually search on TikTok and Instagram — not just for the feed
- Tag every link with UTMs so we know which posts bring traffic that converts
- Track performance in Meta Business Suite, TikTok analytics and Google Analytics 4
- Deliver a short weekly performance snapshot: what we published, what worked, what we're changing next week
- Grow and coordinate a small pipeline of campus ambassadors and student creators producing content for us
- Brand voice and accuracy:
- Keep one consistent voice across six platforms
- Never publish a claim about visa requirements, scholarship eligibility or loan terms without checking it against source material and getting sign-off. This matters more here than in almost any other social role — people make life decisions on what we post
