Yomfield Nursery and Primary school is located at Tejumola Estate, opposite Police post, Obantoko, Abeokuta, Ogun State. It was founded in September 1996 with the main motive of providing educational services to all Nigerians, At the moment there is a Daycare unit along with the Nursery and Primary sections. It is a day school primarily established with a view to bringing children up to cradle through the play way method as a route to other methods in order to prepare them for future roles in the society.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Social Science / English Teacher
Location: Abeokuta, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Accountabilities
- Involvement in the conduct of afternoon session classes for students at designated times on the time-table.
- Attending to all assigned classes regularly and punctually.
- Conducting class tests, periodic tests, practical/projects, homework etc on a regular basis and marking all exercise books while proper records obtained by students are kept as continuous assessment.
- Teaching specialized subject(s) to students in designated classes.
Requirements
Must possess at least 1 year cognate experience teaching specialized subject.
Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must possess at least B.Sc., B.Ed. in Science-related and Social Science fields from reputable institutions.
Sound understanding of the Science primary school curriculum
Meticulous attention to detail with the superb organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Possess at least 1year experience working as an Science tutor.
Salary: N80,000 - N90,000 monthly.
