Summary
Our Client is seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer to manage enterprise software development, application support, maintenance, integration, and lifecycle activities across its operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure proper documentation of software projects, procedures, technical processes and user manuals.
- Promote HSE compliance and safe working practices.
- Manage software development projects from planning through implementation.
- Develop, integrate, maintain and support enterprise applications.
- Provide technical support, user training, acceptance testing and post-implementation assistance.
- Ensure compliance with software development standards and application lifecycle processes.
- Lead application performance reviews, upgrades and maintenance activities.
- Support the development and re-engineering of multiple software projects annually.
- Work closely with IT teams and service providers to resolve application issues.
- Ensure minimal application downtime and reliable access to business-critical information.
Requirements
- Strong team-building, leadership and stakeholder-management skills.
- Good knowledge of DBMS, Windows Server/Workstation environments, software development methodologies, data management and application support.
- University Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems/Engineering, Software Engineering, Information & Knowledge Management, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong project management, problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects.
