We are seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead our software engineering and technology development team.
The ideal candidate must have strong experience in software engineering, full-stack development, software architecture, IT management, project management, data management, mobile application development, and Quality Assurance.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive system integration, automation, and continuous improvement.
- Lead and manage software engineers and development teams.
- Manage software projects from requirements gathering through development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Oversee web, mobile, backend, database, and API development.
- Oversee data management, database performance, security, and integrity.
- Oversee the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Mentor developers and ensure high technical and professional standards across the engineering team.
- Design, review, and implement scalable software architecture.
- Work closely with the CTO and management on technology strategy and execution.
- Establish and maintain software development and Quality Assurance (QA) standards.
- Ensure proper testing, debugging, code reviews, documentation, and deployment.
Requirements
- Proven IT and project management experience.
- Experience managing and mentoring software development teams.
- 5–8 years of relevant software engineering experience, with proven leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of APIs, system integration, cloud technologies, version control, and deployment processes.
- Proven experience in software architecture and system design.
- Strong knowledge of Quality Assurance, software testing, debugging, and quality control processes.
- Strong data management and database experience.
- Ability to combine technical leadership, project management, and hands-on engineering expertise.
- Practical mobile application development experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, Computer Engineering, or related field.
