It has additional licenses to provide Internet Services and Unified Communication Solutions.
Our company has since grown from primarily providing carrier services to a Unified Communication Service Provider, providing the best of connectivity and Internet Access Services to organisations across various sectors both locally and internationally.
BCN's coverage extends throughoutNigeria and internationally,specifically, we have over 1,000km of wholly-owned Fibre infrastructure within the North-Central and North Eastern parts of the country. Therefore, we are able to provide reliable connectivity services to our customers ensuring the highest level of availability making us the go-to provider for all your telecommunication needs.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Location: Abuja
Role Description
Day-to-day tasks include engaging with customers and internal stakeholders to understand business needs, translating these into scalable solution architectures, and preparing technical proposals and design documentation.
This role is responsible for designing end-to-end technical solutions that leverage BCN Nigeria’s metro fiber, broadband, and unified communications offerings to meet client requirements.
The Solutions Architect works closely with engineering and software development teams to ensure proper integration, implementation, and performance of solutions.

Responsibilities
- include providing technical consulting, supporting pre-sales activities, conducting solution reviews, and contributing to continuous improvement of architecture standards and best practices.
- The Solutions Architect is a full-time, on-site role based in Abuja.
Qualifications
- Understanding of Business Process analysis and optimization to align technical solutions with operational and strategic goals.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with attention to detail and a collaborative working style.
- Ability to create clear technical documentation, solution diagrams, and proposals for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Solid knowledge of telecommunications, metro fiber networks, broadband technologies, and unified communications platforms.
- Strong Solution Architecture skills, including designing scalable, secure, and reliable network and communication solutions.
Experience
working cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and sales teams in a technology or telecom environment.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
Background in Software Development and Integration, with the ability to work with APIs, middleware, and enterprise systems.
Consulting capabilities, with
gathering requirements, facilitating technical discussions, and advising customers on best-fit solutions.
