Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate, skilled and committed Special Needs Teacher to provide targeted educational support to pupils with diverse learning and developmental needs within an inclusive school environment. The successful candidate will assess individual learning needs, develop and implement appropriate Individualised
Programmes (IEPs), deliver differentiated instruction, monitor progress and maintain accurate records of student performance. The teacher will work closely with classroom teachers, parents and other professionals to promote each pupil’s academic, communication, social, behavioural and functional development. The role requires patience, creativity, strong observation and documentation skills, and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to individual learning profiles while promoting independence, participation and meaningful progress.
Programme (IEP) development, implementation and review.
Understanding of data collection, assessment and progress monitoring.
Knowledge of differentiated instruction and evidence-informed teaching and intervention strategies.
Strong observation, documentation and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with classroom teachers, parents and other professionals.
Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learner needs.
Basic competence in using digital tools for documentation, planning and learning support.
