We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Store Assistant
Location: Challawa Industrial Estate, Kano
Employment Type: Full-time
Summary
We are seeking a responsible, organized, and hardworking Store Assistant to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor stock levels and report low-stock, damaged, or missing items.
- Ensure materials are handled safely and stored appropriately.
- Support accurate recording of stock receipts, issues, and balances.
- Issue materials and items to authorized departments as requested.
- Maintain proper arrangement and cleanliness of the store.
- Assist with proper storage, identification, and preservation of stock items.
- Perform other store-related duties as assigned by the Storekeeper or Management.
- Assist with regular stock counting and inventory reconciliation.
- Assist in receiving, checking, and arranging incoming materials and supplies.
- Assist the Storekeeper in maintaining proper documentation and records.
Requirements
- Minimum of an SSCE/OND in any relevant field.
- Honest, disciplined, attentive, and physically fit.
- Good numerical and record-keeping skills.
- Basic computer knowledge is an added advantage.
- Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or store environment will be an advantage.
