Job Purpose
The role is responsible for ensuring that supplies received into the warehouse are properly verified, documented and stored, while items released from the warehouse are accurately picked, verified and prepared for dispatch.
The Store Officer will support the efficient day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, verification, shelving, picking, packing, inventory documentation and stock reconciliation.
The Store Officer will work closely with the Procurement, Inventory, Logistics and Business Unit teams to maintain accurate inventory records and ensure the smooth movement of supplies.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain proper documentation for inbound, outbound, transfer, return and stock transactions.
- Pick, verify, pack and prepare approved orders for dispatch.
- Receive, inspect and verify incoming pharmaceutical products, medical consumables and other supplies against relevant documentation.
- Ensure compliance with warehouse SOPs, inventory controls, quality and safety requirements.
- Work closely with Procurement, Inventory, Logistics and Business Unit teams to resolve warehouse and order fulfilment issues.
- Maintain a clean, safe, organized and efficient warehouse environment.
- Sort, label and store products appropriately while maintaining proper warehouse organization and FEFO principles.
- Monitor pending orders and support the timely movement of supplies from picking through dispatch.
- Update receipts, stock movements and other warehouse transactions on the ERP/inventory system.
- Identify and report stock discrepancies, damaged, expired, short-dated or non-conforming products.
- Support warehouse audits, stock transfers, reorganizations and other operational activities.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and support stock counts, reconciliations and stock movement tracking.
