Ensure accurate inventory records, proper documentation, safe storage, timely availability of materials and effective control of company assets.
Responsible for managing the receipt, storage, issuance, tracking and reconciliation of electrical, mechanical, technical and general materials, tools, spare parts and equipment used for power substation projects and maintenance activities.
Responsibilities
- Maintain records of tools and equipment issued to employees and contractors.
- Support project teams by ensuring required materials are available when needed.
- Receive and inspect materials delivered to the store against purchase orders and delivery documents.
- Issue materials only against approved requisitions and properly document all transactions.
- Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile stock balances.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Engineering, Project, Finance and HSE departments.
- Monitor stock levels and notify management of low-stock and reorder requirements.
- Ensure the store remains clean, secure and compliant with company HSE requirements.
- Monitor returned, damaged, obsolete and excess materials.
- Maintain accurate stock records, bin cards and inventory registers.
- Prepare weekly/monthly inventory and stock movement reports.
- Report stock shortages, discrepancies, damages or suspected losses immediately.
- Safely store electrical equipment, cables, transformer accessories, tools, spare parts and other materials.
- Maintain proper identification, labelling and arrangement of all stock.
Requirements
Education
Professional certification in Stores/Warehouse Management, Supply Chain or Procurement will be an added advantage.
OND/HND/B.Sc. in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Purchasing & Supply, Business Administration, Accounting, Engineering or a related field.
Previous
Experience
in power, electrical, engineering, construction or manufacturing environments is highly desirable.

Minimum of 2–5 years'
in stores, inventory or warehouse management.
