Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Storekeeper to manage the receipt, storage, issuance, and control of engineering materials, tools, spare parts, equipment, and consumables.
The successful candidate will ensure accurate inventory records and timely availability of materials to support engineering, maintenance, and project operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Record stock receipts, issues, transfers, and returns accurately.
- Organise and maintain the store for easy identification and retrieval of materials.
- Ensure compliance with warehouse safety procedures, HSE policies, and proper use of PPE.
- Prepare and maintain GRNs, Goods Issue Vouchers, Bin Cards, Stock Transfer Notes, and inventory reports.
- Track tools, equipment, and other technical assets issued to employees and project teams.
- Work closely with Procurement, Engineering, Maintenance, Logistics, Finance, and Project teams to ensure materials are available when needed.
- Conduct regular stock counts and investigate inventory discrepancies.
- Issue materials only against approved requisitions and maintain proper documentation.
- Receive, inspect, and verify materials, tools, equipment, and spare parts against purchase orders and delivery documents.
- Identify and report damaged, obsolete, expired, or slow-moving items.
- Support stock reconciliation, asset verification, audits, and inventory reporting.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, stock rotation, and security of inventory.
- Monitor stock levels and raise replenishment requests when required.
