Job Summary
We are seeking a results-driven Territory Development Officer to drive growth in leases/asset finance through market research, lead generation, pipeline development, and competitor monitoring within an assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Map 3-wheeler/tricycle parks, branch and park chairmen, operators, traders, and small businesses within the territory.
- Conduct market research and identify potential clients and untapped business opportunities.
- Collaborate with Credit and Collections teams throughout the client onboarding process.
- Provide regular competitor and territory intelligence reports to Management.
- Monitor competitor pricing, repayment terms, promotions, loan terms, and market activities.
- Build and maintain a minimum pipeline of 100 leads, including at least 30 hot leads.
- Maintain accurate daily lead and guarantor records and support client onboarding.
- Qualify, categorize, and follow up leads based on financing needs and credit readiness.
- Achieve agreed monthly business development and client acquisition targets.
Requirements
HND / Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
Target-driven with strong commercial awareness and planning abilities.
Strong knowledge of the assigned territory and excellent lead-generation skills.
Experience in business development, sales, asset finance, lending, or related financial services.
Strong communication, relationship management, and negotiation skills.
Salary: Negotiable.
