Summary
The Trade Marketing Executive will be responsible for marketing activities directly related to trade development and revenue generation across the company’s channels and regions.
The ideal candidate should be self-driven, proactive, able to multitask and capable of delivering results within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute channel-specific trade marketing plans and campaigns to increase product visibility, off-take, and revenue growth.
- Oversee trade activations, point-of-sale displays, and local field campaigns to optimize brand positioning within retail and wholesale points.
- Build and manage sustainable relationships with key trade partners, distributors, retailers, and channel stakeholders.
- Utilize CRM software and sales reporting automation tools to track performance metrics, generate weekly/monthly reports, and manage lead pipelines.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, trade data, and customer feedback to uncover new revenue opportunities and refine marketing strategies.
- Implement strategic sales initiatives, monitor channel performance, and consistently achieve or exceed assigned sales and trade targets.
- Conduct frequent field visits and travel across assigned territories (nationally or internationally as required) to drive sales operations and monitor trade execution.
Requirements
- Proficiency in CRM platforms, sales automation tools, and reporting software.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel (data analysis) and PowerPoint (presentations).
- Minimum of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) or higher qualification in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Data Analysis, or a related field.
- Full availability and willingness to travel frequently within assigned territories and nationally/internationally when needed.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding revenue and growth targets in the FMCG sector.
- A minimum of 6 years of direct
