Job Title: Treasury and Financial Controller
Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Reports To: Finance Director

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Treasury & Accounts Controller to oversee treasury operations, accounting activities, financial reporting, cash management, and banking relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare quarterly and year-end financial accounts for regulatory submissions, statutory audits, and annual reporting.
- Work closely with external auditors to facilitate statutory and regulatory compliance.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, financial projections, and other financial reports.
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial performance reports.
- Perform bank reconciliations, resolve outstanding/open items, and verify bank charges.
- Manage and monitor Letters of Credit (LCs), imports, costing, foreign currency transactions, and exposures.
- Support business units in cost control and initiatives aimed at improving financial performance.
- Analyse costs, profitability, margins, actual performance against budgets, previous periods, and other key financial indicators.
- Monitor daily bank balances, cash positions, loans, and overall liquidity.
- Manage relationships with banks, financial institutions, and other funding partners.
- Collaborate with the ICT team to improve financial automation, systems, and operational efficiency.
Requirements
Strong Excel and accounting / ERP systems skills.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
Strong knowledge of treasury management, cash flow management, bank reconciliation, and financial reporting.
5+ years of relevant experience in treasury, accounting, financial control, or a related finance function is preferred.
Experience with Letters of Credit, import transactions, foreign currency transactions, and exposure management.
Experience working with external auditors and regulatory financial reporting.
Professional accounting qualification such as ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent is an advantage.
Salary: N550,000 Net Monthly.
