The Truck Driver will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of construction materials, equipment, tools, company supplies, and other approved goods between company locations, construction sites, suppliers, and other designated destinations.

- Safely
- operate and drive company trucks to designated locations within and outside
- Enugu as required.
- Transport
- construction materials, equipment, tools, documents, and other company-approved
- items to project sites and other destinations.
- Conduct
- routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck before and after each
- journey.
- Ensure
- that the truck is in good operating condition and promptly report mechanical
- faults, defects, or unusual noises to the appropriate supervisor.
- Ensure
- that materials and goods are properly loaded, secured, transported, and delivered
- without damage or loss.
- Assist
- with the proper loading and offloading of materials where necessary, while
- observing appropriate safety procedures.
- Maintain
- accurate records of trips, fuel usage, mileage, deliveries, and other relevant
- vehicle information.
- Adhere
- strictly to all applicable road traffic laws, road safety regulations, company
- transportation policies, and speed limits.
- Exercise
- caution when driving in construction sites, residential areas, busy roads,
- highways, and difficult terrains.
- Maintain
- proper custody of company goods and materials while in transit.
- Verify
- delivery quantities and obtain appropriate acknowledgement or delivery
- documentation where required.
- Keep
- the assigned truck clean, presentable, and properly maintained.
- Monitor
- fuel levels and report fuel-related issues or unusual consumption to the
- supervisor.
- Ensure
- that all necessary vehicle documents and permits available to the driver are
- valid and properly kept.
- Report
- accidents, traffic incidents, vehicle damage, breakdowns, or other emergencies
- immediately to the appropriate authority.
- Avoid
- unauthorised use of the company truck or transportation of unauthorised persons
- or goods.
- Comply
- with company policies regarding fuel, vehicle usage, maintenance, security, and
- reporting.

- professionalism and courteous conduct when dealing with company staff,
