Summary
Reliable Steel and Plastic Industry Limited, a reputable manufacturer of plastic and steel products, is seeking a competent and experienced Truck Driver to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Comply with traffic regulations and company transportation policies.
- Keep the assigned truck clean and in good operating condition.
- Report vehicle faults, accidents, delays, or other issues promptly.
- Transport products and materials to designated locations within and outside the state.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Transport/Logistics Supervisor.
- Conduct routine checks on the truck before and after each trip.
- Safely operate company trucks for the transportation and delivery of goods.
- Maintain accurate trip, delivery, and vehicle records.
- Ensure proper handling and security of goods in transit.
Requirements
Proven
Experience
driving heavy-duty trucks.
Good knowledge of major routes within the South-East and other parts of Nigeria.
Must possess a valid driver's license and relevant driving documents.
Previous
in a manufacturing, logistics, or distribution company is an added advantage.
Good knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
Ability to conduct basic vehicle checks and identify mechanical faults.
Must be physically fit, responsible, punctual, and safety-conscious.
Ability to work flexible hours and travel when required.
Minimum of 6 years proven
as a Truck Driver.
