We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Location: Eket, Akwa Ibom
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Summary
The Universal Teller will be responsible for processing customer transactions efficiently and accurately while providing excellent customer service and ensuring compliance with the Bank’s policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate effectively with other branch staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Promote and cross-sell relevant banking products and services to customers.
- Verify customer details, signatures, cheques, and transaction documents in line with banking procedures.
- Maintain the security and confidentiality of customer information and bank funds.
- Adhere strictly to KYC, AML, fraud prevention, cash handling, and other regulatory requirements.
- Identify and report suspicious transactions or activities in accordance with the Bank’s policies.
- Process cash deposits, withdrawals, transfers, cheque transactions, and other teller services accurately.
- Balance and reconcile cash and transactions at the end of each business day.
- Participate in required training and remain updated on banking procedures, products, and regulatory requirements.
- Attend to customer enquiries, resolve transaction-related concerns.
Requirements
- Strong numerical, communication, customer service, and attention-to-detail skills.
- NYSC completion/exemption certificate, compulsory
- Ability to work accurately under pressure in a fast-paced banking environment.
- Previous
Experience
in a teller, cashier, customer service, or banking operations role is an advantage.
Age limit is 29 years or below
Proximity to job location.
Minimum of HND/Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a minimum of Lower Credit/Second Class Lower.
