Job Purpose
The Utility Technician is to take charge of utility equipment and operations, ensure adequate support to the production operation, and ensure that equipment is working optimally.
Duties /
Responsibilities
- Accountability for assigned work, with attention to detail, is a must-have.
- Must be able to synergize with other departments to achieve set goals.
- He/she should be able to leverage a combination of troubleshooting skills, along with mechanical, electrical, and general engineering skills, to operate, monitor, maintain, report, and sustain onsite utilities.
- Be a champion of safety for self, others, equipment, and the general workplace.

Experience
working on HVAC, plumbing, extraction/ventilation, and fire suppression systems and operations.
Should be knowledgeable in the use of MS Office packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
He/she must be able to take responsibility for utility operations, ensuring smooth running to deliver the right efficiency levels.
Ability to work, troubleshoot, as well as perform route interventions on process cold water chillers, air compressors, nitrogen generators, extractors, air conditioners, extraction systems, etc., will be a plus.
3–5 years of engineering utilities
in an FMCG/processing plant.
28–35 years.
Must be able to work with minimum supervision.
Minimum of HND (Upper Credit) in Engineering (Mechanical, Production, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field).
