Kaplo Africa - Our client, a Fast-Growing Christian Ministry, is recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Videographer / Video Editor
Location: Ajegunle (Abule Egba axis), Lagos
Educational Qualification
Diploma or certificate course in videography, cinematography, or digital media.
Two samples of previous video editing work done as reference.
Applicants must have their own camera to perform the job.
Applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication, Film/Media Studies, Fine Arts, or related fields
Required Experience:
Applicants should have a minimum of 2 – 3 years of professional experience in videography, video editing, or media production
Extremely strong computer skills, with knowledge of relevant publishing software, including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), Desktop applications Publishing (Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop, PDF, Illustrator, InDesign, CorelDraw, and Canva).
Applicants should know camera operation, lighting, and sound recording.
Extremely strong in written and oral English language with research writing skills.
Applicants should have a strong storytelling ability and creativity in visual presentation.
Applicants should have a good understanding of YouTube algorithms, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), and digital content optimization.
Experience in Media Production, Social Media (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Tiktok, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Mailchimp, Google Forms, and Instagram).
Applicants should have experience in Live Streaming Video and Audio in real-time.
Applicants should be proficient in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Capcut, Final Cut Pro, and After Effects).
Superior oral and written communication skills with an emphasis on creative approaches, attention to detail, and efficient delivery methods.
