Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for taking and serving orders accurately, maintaining clean and well-presented dining areas, responding to guest requests and ensuring a positive and professional dining experience.
We are seeking a friendly, attentive and customer-focused Waitress to provide excellent food and beverage service to hotel guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with the kitchen and rooftop/service team to ensure timely order delivery.
- Respond to guest requests, questions, and complaints professionally.
- Set, clear, and maintain tables before, during, and after service.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene within the dining and service areas.
- Process payments and operate the POS system where required.
- Serve food and drinks promptly and according to established service standards.
- Welcome guests and provide courteous, professional service.
- Monitor guest needs throughout their visit and provide appropriate assistance.
- Follow hotel policies, food safety requirements, and service procedures.
- Present menus, explain available meals and beverages, and take accurate orders.
- Performance Expectations
- Maintain compliance with hygiene, grooming, and service standards.
- Support other service staff during busy periods.
- Handle guest requests and complaints professionally.
- Provide prompt, courteous, and professional service to guests.
- Demonstrate good knowledge of menu items and available services.
- Maintain clean and properly arranged tables and service areas.
- Take orders accurately and ensure timely delivery.
- Minimise order errors, delays, and avoidable customer complaints.
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum of SSCE / WAEC or equivalent qualification.
Ability to work flexible hours, weekends, and public holidays when required.
Basic knowledge of food and beverage service procedures.
Must be well-groomed, courteous, and customer-focused.
Experience using a POS system is an added advantage.
Previous experience as a Waitress, Server, or in a similar hospitality/customer service role is preferred.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Good communication, teamwork, and attention to detail.
Taking and processing guest orders accurately.
Table setup, service, and clearing.

Salary: N70,000 - N150,000 / month.
