Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse.
- Coordinate the receiving, sorting, storage, picking, packing and dispatch of goods.
- Ensure the warehouse is properly organised and goods are appropriately stored and easily accessible.
- Plan and allocate daily tasks to warehouse personnel.
- Supervise staff attendance, productivity, conduct and performance.
- Monitor the movement of goods into and out of the warehouse.
- Coordinate order processing and ensure orders are prepared accurately and on time.
- Work with logistics partners/couriers to coordinate timely dispatch and delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels and support regular stock counts and reconciliation.
- Identify and escalate stock discrepancies, damaged goods, losses or operational issues.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of products across the different product categories.
- Resolve day-to-day operational issues and escalate significant matters appropriately.
- Implement and maintain effective warehouse procedures and SOPs.
- Ensure compliance with established operational, safety and quality procedures.
- Maintain accurate operational records and provide regular reports to management.
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency, workflow and productivity.
- Perform other duties reasonably related to the effective management of warehouse operations.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years' experience in warehouse, logistics, inventory or operations management.
Previous experience supervising warehouse or operations staff.
Strong organisational and coordination skills.
Good understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management and order fulfilment.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and accountability.
Ability to use Microsoft Office/Google Workspace and basic digital tools for reporting and record keeping.
Ability to work hands-on and effectively manage a warehouse team.
Location Requirement
Candidates must reside within Baruwa, Ayobo, Ipaja or nearby environs.
