Key Accountabilities
- Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with Losode’s brand and business objectives.
- Plan, create, and publish engaging content, including captions, storytelling, and other social media content strategies.
- Develop and maintain a structured social media content calendar to ensure consistent and timely publishing.
- Manage Losode’s social media accounts and ensure content is engaging, relevant and consistent with the brand.
- Build and engage Losode’s online community by responding to comments, messages and relevant conversations across social platforms.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop social media campaigns to promote Losode, its designers, products, collections, and marketplace initiatives.
- Identify current social media, fashion and digital trends and translate relevant trends into engaging content opportunities.
- Monitor competitor analysis and identify opportunities to strengthen Losode’s social presence and positioning.
- Drive relevant audiences from social media platforms to the Losode marketplace through compelling content, campaigns and calls to action.
- Monitor key social media metrics including reach, engagement, audience growth, clicks, traffic and content performance.
- Analyse content and campaign performance to identify what is working, what requires improvement and where new opportunities exist.
- Use performance insights to continuously improve content formats, messaging, posting schedules and social media campaigns.
- Prepare regular social media performance reports, highlighting key results, trends, insights and recommended actions.
- Collaborate with relevant internal teams to support campaigns, promotions and other business initiatives.
- Maintain awareness of platform updates, emerging content formats and changes in audience behaviour.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media or a related field.
- 2-3 years of proven experience in social media management, content creation, digital marketing or a related role.
- Strong content development, copywriting and storytelling skills.
- Ability to create engaging short-form video social media content.
- Good understanding of social media analytics and performance metrics.
- Familiarity with social media analytics tools.
- Ability to interpret social media data and translate findings into practical recommendations.
- Strong understanding of audience engagement, digital trends and social media best practices.
- Good planning, organisation and time-management skills.
- Interest or experience in fashion, e-commerce or marketplace businesses would be an advantage.
