We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Drill Team Quality Representative II
Locations
: Akwa Ibom, Lagos, and Rivers
Main Functions
Ensure DTQRs are oriented to the Drilling Quality Management System and have the necessary tools and support needed to achieve Drill Team objectives.
Provide functional guidance to and coordinate Drill Team Quality Representative (DTQR) network activities.
Tasks and Responsibilities
In addition to all Level 1 tasks and responsibilities, Level 2 will:
Implement NCR and DR Systems
Provide Oversight of contractors' QMS Implementation
Coordinate Equipment Failure Investigations/Root Cause Analysis
Coordinate/Conduct Quality Management System Assessments
Coordinate with company QA/QC during Goods Manufacturing Phase
Manage Documentation for Purchased Goods
Be responsible for the implementation of the Drill Team Quality Management Program
Requirements
- Good self-motivation and ability to influence others without authority (Drill Team, Quality Team, and Service Providers).
- Advanced knowledge of T.H. Hill DS-1 drill string inspections.
- B.S. Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology from a recognized institution
- Experience in oilfield-related work
- Completion of ISO 9001 Lead Course
- Experience with Rig Equipment and related operations.
- Thorough knowledge of sound quality assurance practices. Abreast of best practices and latest technology in meeting minimum industry standards and specifications (such as API Standards, API Spec Q1, API Spec Q2, ISO 9001, American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT), National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE), etc.) for manufacturing, inspecting, transporting, installing, maintaining, and storing oilfield equipment.
- Strong organizational skills (programs, priorities, sharing/balancing the load).
- Previous experience in a closely related position
- Advanced knowledge of ASNT inspection practices.
- Experience and advanced knowledge of oilfield Drilling and Completions Engineering or Operations.
- Good business writing and computer software skills.
