Avocado Virtual Solutions is recruiting on behalf of our client for a competent, experienced, and professional Male Chef. The ideal candidate must be skilled in preparing a variety of local and intercontinental dishes, maintain high standards of hygiene, and demonstrate creativity, professionalism, and attention to detail in the kitchen.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan menus and recommend meals based on preferences and dietary requirements.
- Ensure proper food handling, storage, and preservation.
- Maintain consistency in food quality, presentation, and taste.
- Prepare and serve a variety of local and intercontinental dishes.
- Ensure timely preparation and serving of meals.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper hygiene in the kitchen.
- Manage kitchen equipment and maintain an organized cooking environment.
- Monitor kitchen supplies and ensure ingredients are available when needed.
Requirements
- Must be creative, reliable, and able to work independently.
- Must have proven experience as a professional chef.
- Must possess a university degree or HND.
- Must demonstrate good time management and attention to detail.
- Must be proficient in preparing both local and intercontinental dishes.
- Must be neat, smart, presentable, and well-organized.
- Must demonstrate excellent kitchen hygiene and food safety practices.
- Must be male and between 30–40 years old.
- Salary & Benefits
- Upon successful completion of probation, salary will increase to ₦250,000–₦300,000 monthly, based on performance and competence.
- Accommodation will be provided.
- ₦150,000 monthly during the two-month probation period.
