We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Laboratory Assistant
Location: Lagos
Job type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Operate, clean, and maintain laboratory equipment.
- Assist with sample preparation and other laboratory procedures as required.
- Carry out quality-control procedures to ensure accurate and reliable results.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and professional standards at all times.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory safety, infection prevention, and waste-disposal procedures.
- Perform routine laboratory investigations under appropriate supervision.
- Record, document, and report laboratory results accurately.
- Work collaboratively with Medical Laboratory Scientists
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment.
- Maintain proper laboratory records and inventory.
Requirements
- Must be reliable, responsible, and attentive to detail.
- Relevant professional registration/licensing where applicable.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous laboratory experience is an advantage.
