Job descriptions & requirements
Key Accountabilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documents.
- Record and reconcile daily financial transactions.
- Prepare invoices, receipts, payment schedules, and other financial documents.
- Monitor income, expenses, and cash flow.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and account statements.
- Perform bank and account reconciliations.
- Process payments and ensure proper documentation.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable.
- Assist with budgeting and financial planning.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax requirements, and company policies.
- Liaise with auditors, banks, vendors, and other relevant stakeholders when required.
- Support management with financial information and analysis.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree/HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in accounting or a related role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Good numerical and analytical skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Knowledge of Nigerian tax and statutory requirements is an advantage.
Professional accounting qualification or relevant certification is an advantage.
Must reside in or around Ebute Metta, Lagos.
