We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Relationship Manager – Business Banking
Location: Lagos
Job type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Assess business financing needs, prepare credit proposals, and support loan processing.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
- Mobilise deposits and grow business banking portfolios.
- Monitor loan performance, repayment capacity, and portfolio quality.
- Acquire new business customers and expand the bank’s SME and commercial client base.
- Manage existing client relationships and identify opportunities for portfolio growth.
- Identify business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and market visits.
- Promote banking products, including savings, current accounts, fixed deposits, and lending solutions.
- Ensure compliance with KYC, AML, CBN regulations, and customer documentation requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
- Relevant professional certification will be an added advantage.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Knowledge of business banking products, credit processes, and deposit mobilisation.
- Results-driven, with the ability to build and manage a profitable customer portfolio.
- Minimum of five years’ experience in sales, preferably within banking or financial services.
- Strong relationship management, negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
