We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Head, Retail Banking
Location: Lagos
Job type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Strengthen customer engagement, loyalty, and cross-selling across retail products.
- Develop and execute retail banking strategies to drive customer acquisition, retention, and profitability.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the bank’s retail market presence.
- Monitor business performance, manage retail banking risks, and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Drive deposit mobilisation, loan disbursements, payments, and transaction growth.
- Lead the development and adoption of innovative retail banking products and digital solutions.
- Lead and develop high-performing teams to achieve business targets.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of consumer lending, credit analysis, and retail risk management.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Proven track record in customer acquisition, deposit mobilisation, and digital banking growth.
- Experience with digital banking platforms and fintech solutions.
- Excellent leadership, sales, strategic planning, and relationship management skills.
- 10–12 years of retail banking experience, including at least five years in a leadership role.
- An MBA or relevant professional certification will be an added advantage.
