Job Title: Cashier
Location: Ogbete, Enugu
Employment Type: Full-time
Work Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Job Summary
Candidates should be comfortable handling cash, balancing daily transactions, keeping proper records, and using basic Microsoft Excel.
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cashier to handle daily cash transactions, maintain accurate financial records, assist with bank deposits, and keep basic inventory records.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain basic inventory/stock records and assist with stock checks.
- Assist with basic accounting and administrative duties.
- Reconcile cash and report discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of cash received and expenses.
- Keep receipts, payment records, and financial documents properly organised.
- Receive, record, and balance daily cash transactions.
- Make bank deposits and maintain deposit records when required.
Requirements
OND, HND, or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is an advantage.
Ability to balance cash and maintain proper records.
Good numerical and record-keeping skills.
Basic Microsoft Excel knowledge.
Additional Requirement: May be required to work on Mondays when necessary.
Honest, trustworthy, and responsible with cash.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Previous experience as a Cashier, Accountant, Accounts Assistant, or in a similar role is preferred
Salary: N80,000 monthly.
