We are recruiting hardworking, experienced, and reliable candidates to fill the position below:
Job Title: Cook
Location: Surulere, Lagos and its environs
Employment Type: Full-time
Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Key Accountabilities
- Follow food safety and kitchen hygiene standards.
- Monitor food supplies and inform management when ingredients are running low.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and cooking areas.
- Prepare and cook meals according to the kitchen’s menu and standards.
- Work efficiently as part of a team to ensure smooth daily kitchen operations.
- Properly store and handle food ingredients.
- Ensure food is properly prepared, cooked, and presented.
- Assist with general kitchen duties as required.
Requirements
- Education:
- Minimum of an SSCE/WAEC or equivalent.
- Culinary training or relevant cooking certification is an added advantage.
Experience
Experience with Nigerian cuisine is preferred.
Minimum of 1–2 years of cooking experience in a restaurant, kitchen, catering business, or similar environment.
Required Skills:
Good time-management and organisational skills.
Ability to prepare a variety of Nigerian dishes.
Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a busy kitchen.
Good cooking skills and knowledge of food preparation.
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
Good knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety.
Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude.
