Job Title: Field Verification Officer
Location: Ore, Ondo
Employment Type: Contract
Job Summary
The Field Verification Officer will be responsible for conducting on-site verification of merchants and loan applicants, confirming business locations, and ensuring accuracy of information provided during the loan application process.
The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, observant, and comfortable working extensively in the field.
They will investigate discrepancies, prepare accurate verification reports, liaise with internal teams to support credit decisions, and ensure all verification activities are carried out in line with the Bank’s policies and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct physical visits to verify merchant and customer locations
- Escalate discrepancies or suspicious findings
- Support loan processing by ensuring verification timeline saremet
- Confirm authenticity of business operations and provided information
- Document findings and submit accurate verification reports
Requirements
- Must be able to cover Ore and neighbouring areas
- Candidate must reside in Odigbo LGA, Ondo State.
- 1-2 years experience in field verification,recovery or direct sales.
- Minimum of an OND/HND/B.Sc in relevant discipline
- Good communication and observation skills
- Ability to follow instructions and submit accurate reports
- Remuneration
- Salary: N150,000 per month
- Transportation allowance & perfomance based bonuses
