Job Summary
The Gardener is responsible for maintaining gardens, lawns, plants, and outdoor areas in a clean, attractive, healthy, and well-maintained condition. The role ensures that the property's landscaping and green spaces consistently meet the presentation and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain lawns, gardens, flower beds, trees, shrubs, and other landscaped areas.
- Water plants and lawns as required.
- Mow, trim, edge, weed, and prune plants and lawns regularly.
- Plant, transplant, and maintain flowers, trees, shrubs, and other plants.
- Apply appropriate fertilizers, compost, and approved pest-control treatments when required.
- Remove dry leaves, weeds, branches, and other garden waste.
- Keep walkways, outdoor areas, and landscaped spaces neat and free from debris.
- Monitor plants for signs of disease, pests, or damage and report issues promptly.
- Operate and properly maintain gardening tools and equipment.
- Report damaged equipment, irrigation problems, or other maintenance issues.
- Assist with landscaping projects and improvement of outdoor spaces.
- Follow appropriate health, safety, and environmental practices.
- Ensure gardening activities do not inconvenience guests or disrupt property operations.
- Must be dog friendly and Vet assistant for dogs.
