Key Accountabilities
- Partner with management to align HR strategies with business objectives.
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, workforce planning, and employee development.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Monitor attendance, leave, discipline, staff welfare, and employee relations.
- Support performance management, appraisals, and employee development initiatives.
- Coordinate payroll and ensure accurate and timely salary processing.
- Manage Pension, NSITF, ITF, PAYE, and other statutory HR requirements.
- Support employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes.
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and people-focused initiatives.
- Monitor employee engagement, retention, and workplace culture.
- Provide HR advice and guidance to management and employees.
- Prepare HR reports and provide insights to management for decision-making.
- Liaise with relevant regulatory bodies when required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, labour laws, and statutory requirements.
- Identify staffing and organizational needs and recommend appropriate HR solutions.
Requirements
- HND in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' relevant HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Practical knowledge of HR operations, payroll, Pension, NSITF, ITF, and PAYE.
- Strong understanding of employee relations, performance management, recruitment, and HR policies.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work closely with management and employees at all levels.
- Ability to handle confidential information and work under pressure.
