We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Hydra Operator
Location: Obajana, Kogi
Job Summary
The Hydra Operator is responsible for operating the hydraulic mobile crane and any other lifting equipment to lift, move, load, and position materials safely within the worksite. The Hydra Operator ensures efficient material handling while strictly following safety guidelines, equipment standards, and site procedures.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain logs of lifting operations, incidents, and daily equipment checklists.
Carry out all work in compliance to all Management Systems.
Perform daily safety inspections, check the hydra and other lifting equipment working conditions, and report any maintenance issues.
Carry out all work in compliance to Plant safety regulations.
Support material movement for production, maintenance, and other teams.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Manager, Workshop & utility.
Safely and efficiently ensure the hydra and other electrical lifting equipment operates in coordination with ground personnel.
Requirements
- Awareness of health, safety, and environmental practices.
- Good practical and technical skills.
- Trade Test in equipment operation.
- Communication skills.
