Job descriptions & requirements
Key Accountabilities
- Revenue & Performance:
- Own the total monthly revenue target for both outlets
- Track daily, weekly and monthly revenue and close gaps before month-end
- Run promotions, upsells and membership drives, and hold weekly revenue meetings with sales and bay staff
- Win B2B business: fleet wash accounts, corporate meal partnerships, institutional clients; at least one marketing visit a week
- Report weekly to Executive Management on revenue, risks and recovery plans
- People & Leadership:
- Manage all staff at both outlets: sales and bay representatives, washers and kitchen staff
- Plan monthly shifts so both outlets are covered throughout operating hours; your days off never coincide with the Bay Sales Representative’s
- Run monthly one-on-one reviews and submit them to Lu Gold HR
- Train and coach the team; address conduct, performance and attendance promptly
- Financial Control:
- Enforce a strictly cashless operation: POS and verified bank transfers only
- Review and approve daily POS and transfer reconciliations
- Manage imprest and operating expenses; flag any overrun or irregularity immediately
- Authorise and document every discount, reversal or complimentary service
- Customer Experience & Standard:
- Resolve customer escalations quickly and act on customer feedback
- Keep the bay, kitchen, front-of-house, signage and waiting areas at Lu Gold standard
- Inventory, Compliance & Reporting:
- Oversee stock for both outlets (wash chemicals, kitchen stock, consumables, equipment) with weekly counts
- Ensure full compliance with SOPs, hygiene and safety standards
- Submit the Weekly Oversight Report every Monday and the Monthly Management Report by the 3rd
Requirements
- 3+ years running a retail, F&B, hospitality, or car-care operation.
- A minimum of an HND
- Proven record of growing revenue and leading 10+ staff
- A calm, firm, and fair leader
- Available for long operating hours and a weekend rota
- Strong numeracy: reconciliations and stock control POS experience; Zoho an advantage
- Remuneration: NGN
- 300,000 Monthly
- Benefits:
- Performance commission variable On-target gross earnings NGN 200,000+
- Paid in full for contracted hours. PAYE is deducted from gross earnings.

- How Commission Works:
- Earned on combined verified monthly revenue of Wash and Flames Tiered from 0.6% to 1.4%; the rate rises as revenue grows
- Paid above the monthly threshold in your contract
- Terms of employment:
- 10:00am – 9:00pm, five days a week
- Two days off a week, set by the monthly shift planner
- Sunday work outside your rota is paid as overtime
- Biometric clock-in; lateness and absence are deducted to the minute
- Performance:
- Quarterly review; persistent misses attract a 20% basic pay deduction
- Payslips are processed once the monthly lead- generation KPI is met
- Approving unsupported absences moves the deduction to you
