Job descriptions & requirements
Key Accountabilities
- Safely transport staff, clients, documents, and company materials to designated locations.
- Drive responsibly and comply with all traffic laws and road safety regulations.
- Perform daily checks on the vehicle, including oil, water, tyres, brakes, lights, and fuel levels.
- Maintain the cleanliness and general condition of the vehicle.
- Plan routes and select efficient travel routes based on traffic and road conditions.
- Keep accurate records of trips, fuel usage, mileage, and vehicle maintenance.
- Report vehicle faults, accidents, or maintenance needs promptly.
- Ensure all goods or materials being transported are properly secured.
- Assist with official errands, deliveries, and other transportation-related duties.
- Ensure the vehicle is serviced and maintained according to schedule.
- Maintain confidentiality when transporting company staff or sensitive documents.
- Demonstrate punctuality, good conduct, and professionalism at all times.
Requirements
- Minimum of SSCE/WAEC/NECO.
- Valid Nigerian driver's licence.
- Proven years of professional driving experience.
- Good knowledge of local roads and routes.
- Clean driving record and strong knowledge of road safety regulations.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Punctual, reliable, trustworthy, and responsible.
- Ability to work flexible hours when required.
- Must be physically fit and presentable.
- Previous experience as a company, executive, or personal driver is an advantage
